Information we collect automatically

When providing our services to you, we will automatically collect your device information (including hardware model, operating system version number, MAC address, network device hardware address, unique device identifier, IP address, software version number, network access method and type, network quality data, operation log, usage and service, device name, system language) and your IP address, your application crash message, your login time and attempts, and your behavior information. We collect such information to (i) ensure your safety, including reviewing whether UGC, messages and related metadata violate our platform user behavior guidelines and other inappropriate content; (ii) help us detect and combat illegal activities and spam on PawShort; (iii) conduct data analysis and testing on the platform to ensure the stability and security of the platform; (iv) prove to provide you with user support;
Data analysis
When you enter search terms to search for videos, we will analyze your search terms and search logs among other users of our services so that we can find them. Rest assured that your search terms will not be revealed to anyone in our analysis.
Video display and playback
You can use video display and playback on PawShort. We will collect your device information, including your IP address, device type, model, device name, universal unique identifier, operating system, language setting, app version and your behavior information to record the position where you paused on a specific video.
Information we obtain from third-party sources
Sometimes, we may receive personal information about you from third-party sources (including certain SDK providers who record potential IP addresses or device IDs as potential security issues if such IP addresses or device IDs have initiated cyber security attacks). You understand and agree that once you delete your personal information from our service on your own or with our help, under the premise of applicable laws and regulations and relevant security technologies, we may not immediately delete your information from the backup system. In this case, we will store your personal information separately from any further data processing in a secure way until such information is deleted or anonymized during the update of our backup system.
